Froggie – the birthday watering can present

A birthday present from the mother.  I reckon it’s the closest thing we’ll ever get to a Prince Charming… 🙂

  1. Where in the world did she find that?

My ex husband’s mother once gave our daughter a ceramic cowboy boot – it had dirt stuck to the inside like if someone had a house plant in it at one time.

Froggy takes the cake, tho. Really!

  2. I have NO idea where she found it Ivory 🙂

Hmmm not sure if I should be proud or insulted that my Froggie beats a used ceramic cowboy boot in the “odd gift” stakes… lol. My mother does odd very well. I shouldn’t be rude, she is trying as hard as she is able to be caring and nice.

    Take care…

  3. Hmh…wow.. it’s indescribable. lol
I can’t remember ever have seen something similar in my life 🙂

  4. We have such mixed reactions to any gift from the mother. Some of us love it (no matter what it is) and some of us go “what in the world was she thinking”…
We enjoyed taking photos of it and getting different focal points, so that was cool. In many ways the mother doesn’t really know us, so it makes sense that the presents she gives wouldn’t really fit. But she really is trying… honest… we admire and respect that she is trying her hardest…
It’s been named “Froggie” so that tells me that a young one likes it. Whenever something gets a name ending in “ie” is usually means that a young one likes it for some reason. So I respect that.

  5. Yes, part of the appeal of this odd object is the way you’ve photographed it … the angle actually makes it look alive.

I’m always very impressed by your photos … you have a unique eye.
